A Service of Nine Lessons and Carols

St. Franciscus Xavierius Church in Amersfoort invites everyone to a special Lessons and Carols celebration, offering a heartwarming blend of music, tradition, and inspiration. A project choir has been assembled for the occasion, performing a selection of both traditional and modern Christmas carols. The carols will feature compositions by renowned composers such as John Rutter, Vaughan Williams, Ola Gjeilo, David Willcocks, Bob Chilcott, and Sally Beamish. Alongside the music, you will hear readings in the style of A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, a cherished tradition rooted in the Anglican Church.
